Ishinomaki Senshu University was founded in 1989, and comprises two undergraduate schools, two graduate schools and some educational and research centers. There are 220 faculty and staff members and 2,400 students.

The founding spirit of our University is expressed as "Service to the Community" through education and research. The keywords of this educational policy are interdisciplinary, international and information oriented.
The faculty consists of young and promising scholars, world-famous experts and professors with rich social experience. They endeavour to find and to develop the potential of each student.

Our students come from all parts of the country and also from other countries. They spend their school life in a large, pleasant campus, and take part in volunteer and international activities in the community. The President hopes that all students will realise their objective of each becoming an expert during their time at Ishinomaki Senshu University.
